As aif.ru was told in the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, it is enough to contact the 24-hour “hot line” for assistance in emergencies, which operates on the basis of the N.N. V. P. Serbian Ministry of Health of Russia.

For 10 years of its work, more than 115 thousand applications were received.
The service provides anonymous psychological, psychiatric and psychotherapeutic assistance to residents of the Russian Federation and Russian-speaking citizens from other countries, including children. The work is carried out by psychiatrists around the clock, seven days a week in several areas:
- Provision of short-term psychotherapeutic assistance;
- Informing about state and non-state institutions that can provide full-time psychological, psychotherapeutic and psychiatric assistance;
- If necessary, motivating persons who called the Hotline to apply for face-to-face psychiatric, psychotherapeutic assistance at the place of residence or to the relevant departments (KDO) of the National Medical Research Center for Psychiatry and Narcology.
