Social networks are circulating messages urging people not to switch to electronic passports. The authors argue that in this way parents consent to voluntary transplantation of the child’s organs around the world.
In fact, a digital passport allows you to get up-to-date data about the child so that he can receive medical care in a timely manner.
As aif.ru managed to find out together with Noodles Media, a resource for exposing false information, a child’s digital passport is not associated with organ donation and does not pose any danger to humans.
What is a digital passport?
The child’s digital passport is a new service that was launched as part of a single digital platform for the capital’s healthcare. It is available to doctors of all children’s polyclinics of the city. In the electronic card, you can see data on the group of health, the availability of benefits and chronic diseases.
According to Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova, the service allows doctors, including narrow specialties, to see a selection with the most important data about a patient as quickly as possible and form the right treatment tactics. Previously, all this information was stored separately, in a paper card and in various sections of an electronic medical record, and doctors had to search for it for quite some time.
In addition to medical data on benefits, chronic diseases, the digital passport contains information about the child’s attachment to a specific medical institution, data about the child’s representative, information about the school or kindergarten where the child goes. The passport also displays information about the child’s social status, which makes it possible to determine additional social support measures, as well as to plan medical examinations for children in difficult life situations.
Who has access to the child’s digital passport?
In addition to parents and doctors of children’s clinics, a child’s digital passport is available to health workers in the capital’s schools and kindergartens. It contains the most up-to-date data, which is automatically loaded from online medical documents.
Can children have access to a digital passport?
Children under 15 can access health information through their parent’s account on the public services portal, while children over 15 can access their own account.
